Sandy Snowden has completed the City and Guilds Fashion Diploma in 2006.
She has received the following awards: winner of the Student category Festival of Quilts, UK 2006 Bernina Fashion Designer 2007 and 2008, 3rd place winner - Small Wall Hanging National Quilt Championships, Sandown, UK 2010.
She has been a tutor at New Directions Community College, Reading Berkshire, UK from March 2008 - present.
She is currently teaching City and Guilds Fashion as well as Machine Embroidery and other textile related courses.
She is the coordinator of the Thames Valley contemporary quilt group 2009-present.
Sandy has exhibited her Textile Art and Wearable Art in America, the UK and Europe. Some of her work has appeared in UK quilt publications as well as online Art Quilt Contests. She is a member of SAQA and Contemporary Quilt.
Sandy resides in the United Kingdom.
