Stretching Art and Tradition

This garment’s shape is based on the Huari culture of Peru, and the symbols are from the Adinkra people of Ghana. I combined the two to make this garment. My creations are always a composite of cultures I've studied and experiences I've had in my travels. This wrap is a prime example and is very me.
