I stretched myself to do a self-portrait. Abstract dances of color and shape are my usual work. Much thanks to my cohorts at Oregon Fiber Artists for portraiture tips and the admonishment to draw everyday! I am now a far better artist for it. Hand-colored cotton gauze, layered on nylon sheer, then quilted.
