“Foundations of South Jersey's Past". The are of southern New Jersey, where I live, has a rich history of agriculture and manufacturing that goes back to the 19th century. The remains of farms, mills and factories, and the artifacts that have survived from that period make wonderful subjects for photography. My piece combines the technique of photo imaging on fabric with improvisational piecing to form a collage celebrating the foundations of our local history.
